Paddling Tours

WE ARE PROUD TO SPONSOR THE BAYSTATE PADDLERS CLUB
Our tours are Open to the public and offer Baystate Paddle Club members a discounted rate on rentals & tours

We have paddling tours on Tuesday nights (every other) through out the Summer.

We have completed our Tuesday evening paddles for the season, But we will be holding 2 more paddles this Fall.
We only had 1 trip postponed because of rain this season. and it was the Last one! Thanks Mother Nature!
 


 
September Paddle
9/24/11 Saturday 9 am - 1 pm

The Charles River : From Rt. 27 bridge Medfield to South Natick Dam on Pleasant St (off RT. 16)
Beyond Rt. 27, you'll reach Pleasant St./South Natick Dam (6 miles). In this stretch, the river is much straighter and passes through conservation land, including Rocky Narrows Reservation and Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary. You'll see some exciting rocky outcrops, like Rocky Narrows and King Philip's Overlook.
Start time 9 am - Please, have your vehicles dropped off at the Dam before the start.
We will have a trailer to run boats back to the start if necessary.

Stopping for Lunch and Ending at Natick Dam between 2-3 pm
Bring a lunch, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, and plenty of water bottles

Members can bring guests along for this trip, Boats will be available for rent by reservation only!
Cost: Free for Baystate Paddle Club members and there is a $5 donation to the Club for guests with their own boats.
All members please email me if you plan on attending, so I can keep a head count and also a contact list if we need to cancel for some reason.

Kayaks: Members $20 and Non-Members $25 + $4 donation = $29 P.P.
Canoes: Members $15 and Non-Members $20 = $4 donation = $24 P.P.
 
We have 3 tandem kayaks, 12 solo kayaks and 8 canoes available
First call, first serve! A $10 reservation fee is required per person.
 
 
October Paddles

The Blackstone River Start at: River Island Park Woonsocket to Manville Hill Road, Manville RI.
A 4.2 mile trip, Paddle the Blackstone through beautiful Urban, forestry area from Woonsocket to the Manville Dam.
approx 2 hours on the river. Meet at 10 am at the Park
Bring a Lunch, snacks and plenty of water bottles
Members can bring guests along for this trip, Boats will be available for rent by reservation only!
