KAYAKING INSTRUCTION

Silver Lake Beach, Upton Road (Route 140), Grafton, MA

Fee: $45 per person

Ages: 9 and over with parent

Dates: Last Wednesday of June, July and August starting at 6:00 p.m.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to kayak?
Here is your chance this summer at Silver Lake Beach.
Fin & Feather Sports of Upton is offering lessons three evenings during the summer.
 Lessons include one and one-half hours of instruction,
kayak rental, life jacket, and paddle.
You will learn the basic of paddling and the equipment needed to recreational kayak on open water.
A minimum of 4 people are required per lesson to run this program.
Instruction dates are subject to number of participants and may change due to weather.
Class size is limited to 12 people minimum of 4..

Let’s be a sportsperson for a week and take a

hike on Grafton Land Trust property. Have you

ever wondered what orienteering is? Have you

ever used a compass? What about fishing?

Want to learn more about archery? Have you

ever canoed or kayaked on Lake Ripple?

Join the Grafton Recreation Commission and

Fin and Feather Sports at the Grafton Lions

Club this summer for an exciting four-day

adventure program. All participants will need to

bring the following supplies each day for being

outdoors: lunch, snack, water, sunscreen, insect

repellant, hat, good walking shoes (no sandals).

Activities offered during the week are fishing,

canoeing, kayaking, orienteering, hiking, map

reading, using a compass, and more. A

minimum of participants are needed to run

this program.
